A Classic Hong Kong Café — “D1 Café” originally come from Chinese words Number 1 (No.1). We are very proud in bringing this Authentic Hong Kong Cafe - “Cha Chaan Teng” (“Tea Restaurant”) in Melbourne, an opportunity for those who miss the “taste” from Home.
The drink, “Yuen Yeung” (Coffee and Milk Tea Mixed), Ice Lemon Tea and Milk Tea is often credited culturally to the style of the cafe.
Various set menu is an unique feature in “Cha Chaan Teng” available “ALL DAY” in breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea. These meal sets usually includes a drink.
Despite being one of the most common and historical dishes in “Cha Chaan Teng”, the most recommended main courses are the “Hong Kong Style Baked Pork Chop Rice, Satay Beef Noodles and Hong Kong Style Club Sandwich”.
